Hi, today I have a story to tell you. Well lately I have been having allergies, so my paws have been itching, and my belly. So I have just been licking and scratching them, but my fur has been falling off and leaving an open wound! And my tummy has been getting rashes! It has gotten worse and worse, so of course my owner had no choice but to call the vet, they explained what I was doing. My mom went over and got medicine and a dog cone!! Ahh! Three times a day I have to put on the cone and medicine for ten minutes, they spray it on me. And for my stomach, the doctor said that I can have a Benedryll, but only pills and not the flavored ones, those aren’t okay for dogs. I had them in Greenies pill pockets for dogs. The Benedryll helped my rashes and the spray helped my paws. Go check with your vet before your dogs take any medicine, and also ask them if they have these spays that help, Anti-Itchy for dogs, also the medicine that my vet, CanyonVet, told me to use, Genone Topical Spray, ask your vet how much you should do before use!!     Thank you Ms Wagmore, I’m so glad you shared this info! My dog lilly just had the same thing. My girls called the vet and her allergies actually got so bad that it turned into a skin infection. Lilly was feeling so bad she was actually a little snippy to the dog groomers. They are the ones who noticed it was bad and recommended we take her to the vet. She has been on antibiotics and an ointment for about a week now and a special medicated shampoo and she feels so much better! Take care Ms Wagmore , tell Mr woof and people I said hello!
